Who we are

What we collect

When you complete an enquiry form, call, email or message us, we collect the details you give us: your name, telephone number, email address, property address or postcode, the service you are interested in, and anything you tell us about the property or the work required.

We do not ask for payment card details through this website.

Why we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out a survey, prepare and send a written quote, complete and certificate any work you instruct, and deal with warranty, guarantee or maintenance matters afterwards.

Where the law requires us to keep records of electrical installation, testing and certification work, we retain the information needed to do so.

Our lawful basis

We process enquiry information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract once work is instructed. Where we keep records to satisfy legal or regulatory obligations, we rely on legal obligation. Any marketing message is sent only where you have agreed to receive it, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to deliver the work: with our accredited partner contractor where an installation is signed off through them, with manufacturers or suppliers where a product registration, warranty or certification requires it, and with our own service providers such as email, hosting and enquiry-handling systems that process data on our instructions.

We disclose information to a public authority only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as needed to follow them up and then deleted. Where work is carried out, we keep job, testing, certification and guarantee records for as long as those records may be needed for warranty, guarantee or legal purposes.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask us to stop sending marketing messages. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within the time the law allows.
